Blend & Press Founder Emma Wood spent 10 years running organic beauty brand Neal’s Yard Remedies’ education department so has a deep-rooted understanding of the health and beauty benefits of plant-based ingredients.
Having a typical late-20s, hectic, London lifestyle Emma used her knowledge to blend (and press!) fruit and vegetables, always adding super-foods and herb extracts to ensure she (and her flat mates) were getting their daily fix of vitamins and minerals.
These delicious, nutrient-rich drinks provided a direct, instant hit of goodness to the bloodstream…and demand was growing. So in 2013, Emma registered the business name Blend & Press and started her mission to improve the health and wellbeing of the nation!
From a growing Instagram following, Blend & Press earned a three-month residency at trendy Shoreditch gym – Frame, serving cold-pressed juices and plant-mylks to their stylish clientele as pre and post-workout refreshments.
From there she went on to set-up her first B&P juice-bar in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden where her bottled juices were bought by the likes of of FKA Twigs, Patti Smith, Florence Welsch and Catherine Tate.
Blend & Press have also collaborated with some of the world’s most globally recognised brands such as Nike, TopShop, Twitter, Anya Hindmarch, Mary Katrantzou and Sweaty Betty.
We’re working on increasing our stockist supplier list but in the meantime come and visit us on Broadway Market every Saturday from 9am.
